The scenic, waterfront community of Mukilteo offers sweeping views of the Olympic Peninsula, Olympic Mountains, Whidbey Island and the Cascade Mountain range and the sense of adventure of travelers coming and going. The Mukilteo ferry dock area hosts restaurants, waterfront trails and thousands of visitors a year.

Whether it is the community’s well-cared-for schools, expanding business core, new library or first-class golf course, Mukilteo is a community committed to providing its citizens and visitors a good place to live, work, shop and play.

Visit Mukilteo and Port Gardner Bay for a sense of Washington State history. Tour an historic lighthouse and visit a new 12-acre park, with large, open areas surrounded by forested walking trails, wetland ponds and picnic facilities.

Plans are proceeding to relocate the current Mukilteo ferry landing to the former U.S. Air Force Fuel Depot, a move that will open more than 20 acres of waterfront to the public and allow the Washington State ferry system to expand its facilities to allow it to increase ferry capacity by 50 percent.

Home to businesses and corporations large and small, Mukilteo maintains its friendly, seaside town atmosphere even as it accommodates visitors who, having experienced its charms, want to stay forever.
