Incorporated in 1983, the master-planned community of Mill Creek is one of Washington State’s youngest cities. Residents enjoy an 18-hole golf course, nature trails, parks and open spaces in the heart of the city. Beautiful new homes and condominiums line wide roads, and homeowners’ associations work with the city to maintain the comfortable quality of life.
A new high school and middle school opened within the last few years, and new development along the Bothell-Everett Highway offers a mix of retail, light industrial and multi-family housing, with plenty of space for pedestrians and community uses.
Community activities offer something for all ages, from senior programs to a popular semi-annual community garage sale that draws visitors from throughout the Pacific Northwest. The city’s annual Run of the Mill 5.5K Fun Run and Walk attracts hundreds of runners and walkers from around Puget Sound.
An expansion to Mill Creek Town Center will provide a total of 233,000 square feet of office, retail and entertainment uses. An application for Phase 2, an additional 150,000 square feet of development, currently is under consideration.
